About me

My name is Tamaru. I am an End of Life Planner and a Death Doula with over 12 years of experience as a registered nurse. I have unique experiences in cross-cultural settings, in the healthcare system and in public health. I recognize the limitations of western medicine in addressing the holistic needs of patients and their families during end-of-life situations. I was trained under Alua Arthur and the Going with Grace team.

To enhance my ability to provide integrated and compassionate care, I am pursuing additional skills by training as a breath coach and learning the Japanese traditional healing art of Reiki. My mission is to honor and support individuals and their families in treasuring and planning for the final stage of life.
